George brings a decade of real estate experience and a wealth of local knowledge to Property Brokers Gisborne.
Holding an Individual Full Real Estate Agent License (2020), he is qualified at the highest levels in the industry, providing clients with expert guidance in real estate law, compliance, market requirements, and best practice. Starting his career at just 22,
George made an immediate impact, selling 37 residential properties in his first year and later achieving the highest residential sale negotiated in Gisborne on the day — early milestones that established him as a trusted and results-driven agent.
Before real estate, George studied Engineering at Otago University and the University of Auckland (Hons), gaining hands-on construction experience with Eastland Group and Tairāwhiti Construction. He also completed work experience with “The Agency” in Venice
Beach and Malibu, learning from some of California’s top-performing agents. In 2020, George founded First Sight Real Estate and served as Principal Agent, a role carrying full legal and operational responsibility. This experience strengthened his expertise
in compliance, legislation, risk management, and client service.
George also has extensive experience in short-term and holiday accommodation, giving him valuable insight into how holiday homes and mixed-use investment assets perform, including understanding yields, regulations, and management requirements — an advantage
for clients buying or selling in these high-demand sectors. George purchased his first home at 22 at Wainui Beach and has continued to invest locally, reflecting his long-term commitment to the region.
Proudly Gisborne-based, family-oriented, and actively involved in community initiatives and local clubs, he enjoys hunting and spending time at the beach — staying closely connected to the people, lifestyle, and communities he represents.
Outside of real estate, George is a proud uncle to his goddaughter and nephews and can often be found around town with Whisky, his energetic SPCA-adopted terrier.
